Making climate a priority for the Department of Education
We organized a group letter to Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona calling on him to name climate and environmental justice as priority areas for the Department of Education and to create a new position reporting directly to him with a mandate to lead and coordinate the Department’s climate work.

We support the Reopen and Rebuild America’s Schools Act and recommend amending the bill to ensure investments in K-12 infrastructure align with the national climate strategy.

Climate Leaders’ To-Do List for the White House
Participating alongside other clean energy leaders, we contributed policy recommendations to spur action and clean energy jobs in K-12 to the CLEEN database.
