SB 394 voted off suspense in Assembly

We wanted to share the exciting news that the Assembly Appropriations Committee voted SB 394 off the suspense file this morning.

This is one of the most important milestones for our bill, and we are incredibly grateful for all of the support and advocacy from young people, educators, health professionals, and advocates to help SB 394 move forward. Thanks also to Chair Chris Holden in the Assembly Appropriations Committee and Senator Lena Gonzalez for their leadership!

The bill next heads to the Assembly floor, where we expect some amendments before a final Assembly floor vote, likely next week, before SB 394 heads to the Senate for a concurrence vote to move the bill on to the Governor’s desk.
