While the July 2025 federal budget reconciliation law introduced new changes to many of the tax credits available to schools, checks from the IRS are continuing to arrive in the mailboxes of districts nationwide.
Winona Area Public Schools receives a check for $5,523,230!
Winona Area Public Schools celebrated the receipt of a $5,523,230 check from the IRS for two ground-source heat pumps installed at Washington-Kosciusko and Jefferson Elementary Schools. The district worked with Wold Architects & Engineers, Kraus-Andersen, and Darcy Solutions install ground-source heat pumps with geothermal dehumidification systems.
