Pottsgrove School District in Pennsylvania receives a check for $1,745,810!
LOWER POTTSGROVE TOWNSHIP, PA., February 2026 — Pottsgrove School District celebrated the receipt of a $1,745,810 check for ground-source heat pumps installed at West Pottsgrove Elementary School. This project was completed during the second phase of a multi-year guaranteed energy savings contract with design and engineering firm CMTA, and their sister companies Provident Energy Consulting and ICS.
The ground-source heat pump installation and other improvements made during phase two reduced the building’s annual energy consumption by 40%. The ground-source heat pumps also qualify for energy tax credits through a funding mechanism known as Elective Pay.
The system was installed in 2024. On February 26, 2026, the district received a check for $1,745,810.69.
