While the July 2025 federal budget reconciliation law introduced new changes to many of the tax credits available to schools, checks from the IRS are continuing to arrive in the mailboxes of districts nationwide.

The Waunakee Community School District in Wisconsin received a $1,044,188 reimbursement from the IRS for clean energy technologies installed at Waunakee Intermediate School and the new Heritage Elementary School. The district worked with Vogel Brothers Building Co. on the projects.
